I did it!

I am officially a member of the BYU Alumni, my college career is over!

Graduation was fun with family there to support me! Thank you everyone who took time to come! (Sorry, some of these pics are blurry)

Me, Dad and Susanne

Sweet little Alyssa

Will and Julie took time out of their busy day to support me, thank you!

Nicole was "sticky dough" to me, which I didn't mind at all!

Brandon's parents came too and gave me some gorgeous flowers!

My sweet honey is ALWAYS supportive of me, so today was a normal thing for him to be extra amazing

I am so grateful for my college experience, I anticipate the next chapter of my life will be just as wonderful

Blessings, Birthday and Bracket

It has been a crazy week full of a lot of fear, but also blessings. My mommy was in a car accident on Monday and got severly injured: two fractured vertebrae and bulging discs. If you want specifics look it up on the news, but the thing I care about the most is that she made it! I've never felt so sick of fear in my life than I did this week when her condition was up in the air. It is such a blessing that my mom doesn't need surgery and that she now has a brace that can stabilize her enough to feel somewhat functional (but she is still in pain). She has been such an optimist throughout this nasty situation and feels lifted up the kindness of friends and family (even though the outside world is attacking her). Thank you for your support, it means a lot to her!

Another blessing this week was the fact that my hubby was born on April 7 and he is now a part of my life! It was Brandon's birthday yesterday and we had a blast celebrating. I made him a big breakfast in the morning and then in the evening we went shopping for him at the mall. He got a much needed new swimsuit and pants for church. We ate at PF Changs and had such a good time together. Mommy Horne and Erin also brought over a treat for him and a birthday banner (made by Erin). I love him so much, I can't imagine my life without him! I know we were meant to be :)

By the way, my NCAA bracket beat his. I'm still trying to decide what my prize should be...

Almost there...

This is what I have to keep telling myself lately:

Skipping class has never felt so satisfying, not doing homework shouldn't feel this good...does this mean I'm ready to move on? I daresay I am, Watson! Graduation is around the corner and I am really looking forward to it. I love my field of study and what I've learned, it is just time to do something different! I'm day-dreaming more and more our summer in California and the next chapter of my life!
