Over a year back my dad moved from Provo to King of Prussia, Pennsylvania! It's seriously right next to Valley Forge and near everything else historical and amazing.
My sister lives in New Jersey which isn't too far from my dad, so the three of us met up (Brandon hadn't arrived from Seattle yet) and we fulfilled a dream of mine. Visiting Carlo's Bakery in Hoboken, NJ. Yes, the bakery from "CAKE BOSS". Drool. The bakery was amazing (chaotic)!
One of my idols and sweet sister: Linda
Later in the week we went to Manhattan (sadly my sister got sick!) and were VERY cold tourists. The wind was horrible and it was freezing but I was able to borrow my sister's thick coat so it was all good.

Another dream was to go to the Natural History Museum! I took way too many pictures so I just picked a few. The exhibits were amazing!
My dad and brother-in-law Scott on the subway! Scott is from these parts so he knew exactly where to go at all times. Good thing he was there to help us! lol. In the evening we went to the production WICKED which was Brandon's first time seeing it.
One of the days staying up at my sister's house in Jersey, we went to Medieval Times!! Now if you have never done THAT it is a MUST! Here is the website to go to your nearest location, haha: http://www.medievaltimes.com
Here we all are in our team crowns. It was my dad's birthday so my sister had him knighted by the king! If you want to know how old he turned, it starts with a 6 and ends with a 0! Look at my handsome daddy!
As I said earlier my dad lives near Valley Forge and we took a nice long walk. So beautiful, full of history. Probably one of my favorite parts of the trip! Here is my cute nephew Spencer :)
My favorite pic of Spencer with his parents in the background
We were able to see Washington's Headquarters which was pretty neat!
Next Stop - historic Philadelphia! We saw the Liberty Bell and Independence Hall! (And my poor nephew blew chunks in the parking garage).
Later that day we went to a kids "please touch" museum which was super cute and entertained the kids (which includes Brandon, lol).
Also we went to Famous Daves and THAT was delish! That needs to be on your to-do list and you need to go TODAY. They serve amazing food on a trash can lid if you get the family-style order!
The End! xoxo.
